Network Test Developer
We are currently looking for a Network Test Developer who would report directly to our quality manager; someone with good analytical skills, who can multi-task on various projects, is a good problem solver and has good organizational skills.
The network test developer will join the R&D team to help ensure our products have the highest possible quality.
Responsibilities:
The individual has to be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the following tasks:
- Performing functional, stress, performance and interoperability testing of switches, routers etc. to verify software functionality
- Developing test plans to contribute to planning
- Developing software test automation tool that interacts with switches, routers etc. to verify software functionality
- Providing requirements and specifications for development of the software test automation tool, and its functional review
- Troubleshooting customer issues to ensure timely remedy of customer concerns
- Reviewing product specification to ensure its correctness
- Writing and reviewing application notes, product literature, conference papers to contribute to communication with customers
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
The individual must demonstrate possessing the following skill set:
- Engineering or science university degree in computer, system, software or electronics
- Internetworking program
The candidate should have experience that includes 6 of the following areas:
- Configuring routers, switches and firewalls
- Link technologies: Ethernet, Frame Relay, PPP, channalized interface
- Protocols: OSPF, SNMP, IEEE 802.11
- Secure protocols: IPsec, TLS, IEEE 802.1x, authentication
- LAN protocols: RSTP, VLAN, IGMP snooping
- SCADA protocols: IEEE 61850, DNP, Modbus
- TCP/IP protocol stack
- Software development language: Perl, C or similar
- OS: Configuring Linux systems

Network Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the position of a Network Consultant who would report directly to our Manger – Professional Services. The applicant has to be able to demonstrate a combination of high technical and project management skills. As the job will demand high technical expertise, the individual will need to have a sold networking background both on the design and troubleshooting sides. The individual will assume responsibility for designing and implementing projects in addition to preparing training material and running training courses as needed.
Responsibilities:
The individual has to be able to demonstrate the ability to perform the following tasks:
- Provide post and pre sales support for RuggedCom product suite.
- Be a subject matter expert on all RuggedCom products.
- Prepare and conduct technical presentations adapted for both post and pre sales.
- 50 – 60 % Travel will be required.
- Review network designs.
- Develop preliminary and detailed Network Design for new projects.
- Execute on designs including RuggedCom products and multivendor solutions.
- Optimize an existing network and stage network changes as needed.
- Provide feedback to management and marketing regarding products and features enhancements based on trends.
- Demonstrate very high fault analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Perform both project and customer management in different project phases with the ability to multitask.
- Create technical design documentations.
- Create technical reports and management reports.
- Developing training courses curriculum, build training material and perform training activities as needed.
- Respond to RFI’s, RFP’s and tenders as assigned.
- Analyze project requirements and be able to transform a requirement to a SOW and estimate the time needed to execute.
- Help develop service business opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
The individual must demonstrate possessing the following skill set:
- Strong Networking background with minimum 5 years of Networking experience.
- Able to manage his own time and tasks with minimal or no supervision.
- A self starter and able to drive tasks.
- Solid switching, routing and network security background.
- Well rounded technical expertise covering industry standard technologies and protocols including but not limited to xDSL, FR, SONET, SDH, ATM, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, Ethernet, TCP/IP, RSTP, MSTP, VLANs, RIP, OSPF, BGP, GRE, IPSEC.
- Very high analytical skills.
- Very strong project management and organizational skills.
- Has successfully designed and implemented network projects of medium to large scale.
- Expertise preparing training materials and conducting trainings.
- Very strong interpersonal skills.
- Very strong presentation skills.
- Excellent command of English.
Special consideration will be given to candidates with the following attributes:
- 8 years or more experience providing solutions and technical support/onsite field services.
- Recent (last 2 years) Cisco or other networking certifications: CCNP, JCNP, CCIE highly desirable.
- Network Security certifications is definitely an added value.
- Electrical utilities, industrial, transportation expertise will be considered a plus.
- Being fluent in multiple languages is a definite plus.

Manufacturing Assembler Technician
We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Assembler Technician in Hollywood, Florida. The candidate will report directly to our Manufacturing Manager. We are looking for someone who can handle a high volume of work, who can work independently and in a team setting and has good organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Mechanical / electrical assembly of PCB assemblies into product case.
- Final assembly and shipping of products.
- Building of small electrical sub-assemblies.
- Material handling.
- Soldering and de-soldering of through hole and SMT component.
- Initiate process improvements.
- Software Installation.
- Data entry.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Self-starter, Team Player,
- Excellent communication skills both verbal & written
- Computer skills, good mechanical aptitude, experience in through hole and
- SMT component soldering.
