RuggedNMS™ – Network Management Software

RuggedNMS™ is fully-featured enterprise grade network management software based on the OpenNMS platform. Specifically for the rugged communications industry, RuggedNMS™ provides a comprehensive platform for monitoring, configuring, and maintaining mission-critical IP-based communications networks, such as those found in substation automation and “Smart Grids” for electric utilities, intelligent transportation systems, and advanced control and automation for industrial processes.

  • A node is any device with an IP address

  • A 20 node demo version is available for a Windows environment

RuggedNMS Installation Requirements

Server Computer:

  • Minimum server specifications:
    Intel Core 2 Quad-Core CPU 2.4 GHz or higher, 4 GB RAM, 500 GB hard disk, tower case

 

Operating System:

RuggedNMS must be installed on a workstation that has one of the following operating systems installed:

  • Microsoft Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 2 (32 bit) or higher, English
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2, Service Pack 1, English
  • Microsoft Windows 7 (32 or 64 bit), English
  • Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2, English
  • Debian Linux (Lenny)
